What is the best Gravel Grid?

Gravel grids are the best way to keep your driveway drained, solid and churn free. Each grid is designed to hold up to 500 tonnes per square metre making them the strongest driveway parking grids ever made, and we back our claims with a minimum 25 year guarantee. They are easy to assemble and can be cut to fit any shape of driveway. The offcuts can be put in domestic recyclable bins and go through the process again and again, as all of our grids are made from 100% recyclable plastic.

As well as driveways, these grids are designed for multiple functionality. Perfect for any garden ground structure as a foundation, they will prolong the life of summer houses, sheds, hot tubs and even metal trampoline bases. They are also perfect for gravelled seating/BBQ areas and garden paths. As mentioned before, easy cutting means they can fit effortlessly around non movable objects such as manhole covers, where access can still be gained.

The type of gravel you use is your choice, but we recommend anything between 10mm and 20mm for the optimum fill. Typically, you'll need 20kg per grid for the gravel to sit flush with the top of the grids or 30kg per grid for a more discrete finish where you can't see the grids. But don't worry, the gravel still won't churn with that discrete finish.

We also offer the ultimate weed suppressant membrane to stop the toughest of weeds which also stops the migration of grids and gravel from sinking into the sub base. Without using weed killer sprays, gels or herbicide treatments - this thick, woven geotextile ground cover membrane will keep your weeds down forever - organically. Also, it's water permeable allowing liquids to pass through. Sitting directly above the sub base layer, it blocks light from reaching young weeds, stopping them from growing and saving you from the endless chore of pulling them out. Use and reuse, this recyclable woven fabric is weather proof, rot proof and sunlight stable. So once you have your driveway/path/gravelled area in place, maintenance will be very minimal.
