Courier Backlogs

Author Ted Bromley-Hall

All UK courier networks are currently struggling with unprecedented volume.

As announced previously, we are currently running production and preparing your orders on time as usual. However there are currently some issues causing delays to the collection and delivery of orders due to large backlogs within the UK courier networks.

Courier network delays due to coronavirus

Courier networks are currently receiving unprecedented volumes of parcels, which is causing delays to usual service.

We are doing everything in our power to continue offering our own exceptional standard of service and speedy distribution. We're 98% there with our own targets - a surprising feat considering how many orders we've been receiving.

Some orders may be getting held in parcel and pallet delivery centres as you can see in this photo. Not all parcels will be delivered next day.

If you are beginning a building project, please allow enough time to account for these delays. Delays should be expected - order in advance.

During this period, we will continue to offer our support to customers with outstanding parcels and we will continue to meet our targets on preparation and despatch of new orders.

Please remember to be kind to frontline courier and customer service staff throughout this testing time.
